Terms of Service

Welcome to Bro. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bro mobile app and related services (“Bro”, “the app”), operated by Quarq(“we”, “us”, “our”). By using Bro, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Bro is an AI assistant that provides recommendations and can perform tasks through services you choose to connect (such as email or calendar). Bro is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Bro. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

You sign in using Google through our authentication provider. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Notify us at support@quarq.io if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Bro for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes;
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
Upload content you don’t have the right to share, or that infringes others’ rights;
Use Bro to generate or distribute harmful, hateful, or illegal content.

5. AI-generated content — important disclaimer

Bro’s responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Recommendations are suggestions, not professional advice. Always use your own judgment — especially for decisions involving health, safety, money, travel, or legal matters. You are responsible for how you act on Bro’s output.

6. Connected services & your content

When you connect a third-party service (e.g. Gmail, Google Calendar, Maps), you authorize Bro to access it on your behalf to perform your requests. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms. You retain ownership of the content you submit; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate and improve the service.

7. Service availability & changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We strive to keep Bro available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Termination

You may stop using Bro and delete your account at any time (see our Account Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm others or us.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Bro is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quarq is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on Bro’s output.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be subject to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
