Delete your account & data

You can delete your Bro account and associated data at any time. Bro is operated by Quarq. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.

Option 1 | Delete in the app

Open Bro and go to your Profile (tap your avatar).
In the new app, open Privacy centre, then tap Delete account. Older versions may show Delete Account directly in Profile.
Read the confirmation and confirm deletion. This removes your app account and starts deletion of its associated data. If the app reports an error, contact support using Option 2.

Option 2 | Request by email

Email support@quarq.io with the subject “Delete my Bro account.” You do not need to reinstall the app or have an email linked to Bro to request deletion.

If you signed in with a phone number, include that number with its country code and say that your Bro account uses phone/WhatsApp sign-in. You can send the request from an email address where we can reply. If you signed in with or linked an email, include that address; sending from the linked address helps us verify ownership.

We must verify that the account belongs to you before deleting it. Support will explain the verification needed for your account; a phone number alone does not authorize deletion. Do not send us a sign-in OTP, password, payment-card details or identity documents in your initial email.

What gets deleted

Your app account and sign-in identity, including linked phone/email and profile details;
Your conversation history and messages;
Any photos, files, and voice notes you sent;
Your saved preferences (such as interests/hobbies) and the assistant’s memory of you;
Your saved addresses, saved products, cart and account-associated personalization data;
Authorizations for any third-party services you connected (these are revoked).

Timing

Deletion requests are processed promptly. Your data is removed from active systems immediately or within a few days, and from backups within 30 days.

We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request and limited order, payment, refund or other information needed for legal/accounting obligations, dispute resolution, security or fraud prevention. Such retention does not keep your app account active. Retailers and payment providers maintain their own transaction records under their policies; deleting Bro does not cancel an existing order or delete an unrelated retailer or WhatsApp account.
